I was driving past a vet's office today and they had a sign out to vaccinate your dog against bites. I never even knew this existed. How about anyone else? I will be looking into this now that the weather is getting a little cooler here in GA.

We have two dalmatians and sometimes we carry Speck, our oldest, because he's pretty laid back and cool. Tucker, on the other hand, is a biter, therefore, we usually pawn him off on the kids or board him til we get back. The first and only time we carried Sepck in the N2U PUP, he spent most of the night trying to drag cushions off the sofa to make a bed, so it turned out that none of got any sleep that night. I think on our next trip, he may have to stay home as well.

On our trip last week I was amazed and appalled at the amount of doggie doo that was at the cg. I watched a man walking ahead of us with his dog wait for his dog to do his business and just walk on leaving it there. I was tempted to say something to him but I can be very "undiplomatic" at times when I'm riled so I kept my mouth shut. I don't think anyone wants to take a walk in any cg and have to dodge dog crap. It's just common courtesy to pick up after your dog.

Sorry, I just had to vent.

I don't normally post as I do not have a pop-up but read the forum for camping information. This too is one of my pet PEEVES.  I camp with a little 6 lb mutt and sometimes actually have to look for her poo to pick up.  I would never leave her mess for others or myself to step in.  If I see someone doing what that person did and I did not only say something, I would follow to get the camp site number and complain to management. There is no excuse for this.  It is not only rude but very unsanitary.  What if someone were barefoot or fell and got that on their skin?
