Ok, most of you have already figured this out, but it took me two days to fix this, so some other poor sap might appreciate this note.  Also, if I had fixed this the first time, that gash on my forehead wouldn't be there. . . .

The filler hose from the hole in the side of the camper to the water holding tank got a few holes in it and needed to be replaced.  We, of course, discovered this while on a camping trip.  For a short term solution,  we used the new self-sealing saran wrap and a couple hose clamps to fix it for the short term, but when we got home and I took the old hose off and put a new hose on.  To my dismay, it leaked like crazy at the tank where the hose attached to the holding tank.  What to do?

I tried sillicon calk (bad idea); o-rings (another bad idea); cranking the hose clamps as hard as i could (no luck).  When I got to my wit's end and had spent hours messing with this silliness; talked to the hardware store people; searched the internet, I finally went to the dealer.  They suggested coating the outside of the feed tube to the tank with wax from the wax rings you seat toilet's with.  Voila, it worked like a charm.  So, there you go.
