Help looking for a chain

I have a 1970 Starcraft Master 6 and I need to find the chain that pulls down the roof vent- I have tried Lowes, Home Depot and the chain is too small- I also contact Starcraft and they don't have it in stock anymore.
 I don't want to have to replace the whole vent.  Does anyone have a name of a parts place that might carry some.
