My '88 coleman popup needs to go up about 3/4"-1" higher to get the door on.  The roof goes up easy enough & is level.  The manual says to move the pullys under the camper to make adjustments, but it doesn not say which direction affects the height. So I was wondering if anyone has experince adjusting the height this way & could tell me which way moved the roof higher.  My pulleys are currently on the middle hole, should I move them away from the corner or into the corner?

The manual for my 95 Coleman shows the adjustment pulleys to be adjustable up and down in the mounts they are in at the bottom of the lift post (under the camper). The pulley gets moved down one hole to make about a 1 1/2" adjustment to the roof height. Fine adjustment is made at the wiffle tree and they say to take it to the dealer for this adjustment.

Pop Up Portal has the entire service manual for the Fleetwood/Coleman lift system in downloadable form; as well as other lift system manuals.

I did this a couple of years ago. You move the pulley away from the corner of the pup. Good luck.
