Point Mugu Nov 20-23

I know this is sort of "Spur of the moment" but we are going to camp at Point Mugu (Thornhill Broome) this weekend, Thurs - Sunday.

The weather looks like it should be perfect this weekend and we often do this during the winter. Some SCCAMPERs have asked us to let them know when we are going so we are letting you know.

Please join us if you have no plans. There are 32 sites available @ $15 per night. IMHO, that's the best deal in America.

As most of you know, it's dry camping. There are water faucets about every 100' along the road, clean chemical toilets and there is a dump station 1/2 mile up the road (included in the price).

Sounds like fun. Always wanted to go to Pt. Mugu, but we already have reservations for San Onofre this weekend.

We are going to a play on Saturday afternoon at the Candlelight.......and a party on Sat. night.......Should be lots of fun.....

The weather was absolutely magic. PERFECT weekend.......

CG was about 50% full. We got the best spot in the CG......all the way at the end. Clear skies....75 and a light breeze during the day......60 and no breeze at night....it just doesn't get any better than that.

Oh ya......on Sunday....there was that dark ring around the Sun....We all know what that means...
