Well made reservation for Koa at mackinaw for Jun-7 to Jun-12 the kids get at of school may 28 for 5 nights it is 150.75 w/e/s 30 amp wifi i check the prices at Mill creek campground it was 190.00 for 5 nights both campgrounds when there if i time i well  take look at Mill creek campground.  :U

That sounds like a fabulous trip.  My mother in law lives near Houghton and we stay in Mackinac every time we drive up from Detroit.  Makes a really long drive bearable and a lot more fun.

Go for it and have fun. Our first trip was a KOA close to home. Just didn't want to be in the middle of 'the wilderness' with a new to us camper and not knowing what we were doing. LOL.

Well, I'm jealous. I love that area. If you get a chance head over the bridge up to Tahquamenon Falls.  This might be a hour or so north, but worth the trip. A trip over to Mackinac Island is another fun time. Although there is lots to do in Mackinaw anyway, the fort, the museum, the shopping.....
Remember to bring cold weather gear. Even in late June it can get down in the 40's, and the breeze off the lake is always cool. Have Fun!
