Friends,

I am leaving for Honduras at 6:10am by American Airlines, for a missions trip. I do little/no medical while I'm down there. My group builds a home each year with room for 10 children (abandoned) and 2 adults (hired help to teach and look after them). This will be my second trip. It was powerful last year. One of the hardest weeks I've ever done, including fire school weeks.

Please pray for my group's safety and health. We are far removed from any good healthcare.

Please pray for my wife's and baby's health while I'm gone. I'll explain later.

If you find it interesting, here are some videos of last year's trip:

(We had just finished the playground, and brought the kids up to it. What the video doesn't show is a bunch of men in the background wiping tears away.)

Larry,You are what this world is all about, and needs more of,esp.at these times.Too many people are only concerned about "them",and in times like these,we all need to help each other. When you look around, its not hard finding someone worse off than yourself....

GOD ALWAYS LOOKS OUT FOR HIS CHILDREN....and we will pray for both you and your family in your absense. You will go and do GODS work, and HE will look after your family in your absense.........

Again,thank you............

Thanks for the well-wishes. I have returned safely, and the trip was a blast. I worked like a dog from sun up to sundown, helping a team of 28 build a house. But the men I worked with are fun.

Many of you complimented me. I accept the compliment, but humbly adding that I am just a tool. If only I could be this giving the other 51 weeks of the year. Besides, those people are very poor. What i make in a day could supply one person for 3 months in the Honduran economy.
