Our Palomino owners manual goes into great detail about using wax to seal the seams of the fabric. Why couldnt I just use the seam sealer I have used on all my motorcycle gear and tents over the years?

First question I have is, are your seams leaking?Secondly the sealer your referring to is it safe to use on all types of material ? I actually went to a dealer and asked the same question, and he said if its not leaking it doesn't need to be sealed. He also said that you need to watch what you use on the seams because certain chemicals actually do more harm than good. They can damage the material or the threads. My suggestion is to use what is recommended or talk to your dealer.....

Dont know if it leaks or not, the manual states that it needs to be sealed with wax. I may drop a call to Palomino or Sunbrella to get an idea.

No more rain than we've had I may never find out.
