How much do you manipulate your appearance when camping?  By 'modifying' makeup or hair, I mean doing anything other than washing/moisturizing the face or anything other than washing, conditioning, combing, and towel-drying the hair.

One of the reasons I love camping is that I have a great excuse not to wear makeup and I don't fuss too much with my hair either.  Camping is very liberating, in many ways.

I put makeup on when camping ONLY because it has SPF 15 in it and my hair is just washed and pulled back in a barrette or pony tail.  That's one of the many reasons I love camping.

You can put on SPF 15 sunscreen, and then forget the makeup.  Putting on sunscreen is quicker and easier than putting on makeup.  Well at least if you want the makeup to look nice.  Also less packing by leaving the makeup at home.

After a shower I'll blow my hair dry..... but most of the time my hair is in either a pony tail or hat so I don't bother with to much style.  As far as makeup... I always put a little eyeliner on so I don't look like a ghost but I don't put more then that on..... anyother make up I feel would just be like glue for dirt! hahahahah

She loves the feel of washed and blown-dry hair, so she does that. But no makeup.

I rarely wear makeup anyway, so I certainly don't wear it camping either.  The only makeup I even take is Chapstick or lip gloss.  As for my hair, I only blow dry in cool weather, otherwise I put on a headband and let it air dry.

For weekend trips, only moisturizer for my face and the hair gets put in a ponytail. For week-long trips I do take makeup in case we want to go out to eat one night, and I let my hair air-dry then pull it into a ponytail.

I generally wash hair & put in pony tail, but do blow-dry the bangs to keep them out of my face.  Usually, no makeup.  And no contact lenses.

However, if I am going somewhere - lunch, shopping, etc., I will put on a bit of make-up (so as not to scare anyone) and put in my contacts.

my gf doesn't do much during camping, sometimes she'll put on mascara but the hair usually stays off the face either in a ponytail or braids because she doesn't like the smell of campfire smoke in her hair and because it's on the longish side, it's flammable

I put on make up and brush hair and fix bangs if someone is coming or I am going somewhere so I do the same at the campground.  I am a stay at home grandma so there are days my hair may not get brushed depending on what is happening.  LOL  Whatever is easy!

I use a little mascara and lip gloss and just let my "natural beauty shine through".  Sun screen is a must and pony tail up and ready for the day's events.
