Camp Journal - What info do you include?

I have young kids and I think it's important for them to see their parents write.  I involve the kids when I write in the journal, and I ask them what their favorite things were.  They usually remind me of stuff I would have forgotten.  It's always interesting to hear what sticks out in their minds as opposed to mine.  I also draw a little picture of something like a prominent landmark or place we visited.  I'm not a good artist but I think it adds a little something to the pages.

We put most of the stuff that was suggested already including the name of the people that we meet, this came in handy at one time. We pulled into a campground and we noticed people where there from a camping trip from the previous year. My wife quickly looked in the journal and voila we knew their names and their children's names. Boy did we look good.
