Here is a reference that may or may NOT have any relevance to the subject. Maybe it could stir-up some controversey ... things been too quiet on this board lately!

I'm really no one to give any advice on the 3-way frigs. Present Starcraft does not have one and that's because I did'nt want one. The two previous RV's did have and the 3-ways worked fine in the driveway or the dealer's service department but would NOT WORK way out in the boonies ... or a camp ground for that matter!

I've read 3 degrees side to side and 6 degrees front to back with the newer models. The fridge front to back can be the PU side to side!
Do the math on 6 degrees over  5 or 6' (whatever the wheel spacing is!), it's more than I care to be off level!

As for the hole 12, 120v, propane, these small fridges have the same watt rating for 12v as 120v, since the amps are 10 times higher in 12v, the loss in the small wire charge line etc means it doesn't get full voltage. Some folks fridges freeze on 12v while traveling! Others swear it just runs the battery down.

The BTU of the small flame is 150% or so of the electric wattage! No wonder the flame wins out. Some claim the covection of the propane exhaust helps the chimney.

PUs side walls are not tall enough for good chimney effect! Adding a baffle helps air flow which helps the fridge get rid of heat (ie cool).

Currently not working link, http://www.rvmobile.com/tech/trouble/vent.htm at the bottom shows poor PU fridge vent.
