Hello all....

I have not been around this site for a looong time.  Seems there are some changes goin on.  The last time I was here I was looking for help in getting parts/fixing my pup.(my front storage cover blew off!) Anyway I am a native Arizonan and wanted to say hi to all the other arizonans here.

Soooo....where abouts is everyone???  I am originally from Glendale, moved to Pine/Strawberry area for a 4yr job, and now (unfortunatly) back in glendale.

I have a 99 coleman niagara, pull it with a 03 silverado(gas) and havent done a whole lot of adventurous camping yet.  My wife and I have been busy having kids (3) so mostly the camping we have done is on the rim around Knoll Lake.  However we did go to Rocky Point once.

So we just got back from our 1st trip this year. Due to work it has just not been possible till now.  We went up by Willow Springs and had a great time.  Just a little bit o rain, DOUBLE digit heat...awesome.

Well...thats a little on me....hows about everyone else?

Hi sandc,
We are from around the PV mall area. We haven't been able to do a whole lot of camping this year also due to our DD school and our work schedules.  We did spend 5 days at Ponderosa campground near Payson in June and just got back from 5 nights in Flagstaff.  It was nice to see rain and have double digit temps also. The first day we were there is was 92. A little warm since we didn't have hookups and I didn't let DH bring the generator.:eyecrazy:

We start school here Aug 10th and soccer season starts after Labor Day our schedule is tight until Feb/Mar when the season is over.

Glad to see you back.  This site has been a little slow with postings.

Greetings!  We live north of phoenix in anthem.  Our Starcraft Spacemaster is holding up quite well as well as the TV.  It has been a slow year for camping but we are making all the efforts to go when we can.  We are going to Pinegrove Campgound in Flagg this weekend for a couple of nights just to get our fix in.  With school starting soon it looks like opportunities are running out.  Glad to see some activity on the site, I still enjoy all the usefull information we can find here.  Happy Camping!!

Indy,
We were just at Pinegrove a couple weeks ago.  We were in site 30. It was ok. We were a little close to neighbor 29 but at least we had some shade. The tables have no ramada over them so it can get pretty sunny and warm in the afternoon. It looks like it will be cooler this weekend for you than it was for us. Enjoy your trip.
Take care.

Mary,
We have site 31 which is up against a forest service road (?), it was chosen by the other group we will be joining .  They are there all week but like I said time is running out to camp so even a couple of nights will do.  I'm glad it did cool down this week, should make for some nice evenings.  Hope you are well.  There has been talk about a rally AZ, love to join in if one materializes.
