Went to Hamlin SP on Lake Ontario.  Man, what a beautiful park.  Clean Bathrooms/showers with dump sinks.  Only had electric site, but had the water spigots in-between every third campsite.  Alot of much needed father/son time, with the wife and girls coming out for just the day on Saturday.  Nice wooded sites about 300 yards from the beach area.  If anyone is planning to go there, get on the "d" loop, stay on the inside(as the ouside of the loop slant down hill).

Now for the issues i had:
1. water pump ran non-stop, but no water(tank was full).
2. forgot camera
3. forgot to take trash to dumpster Saturday Night(went out to use bathroom when i notice five feet from me was a skunk tearing apart my trash. Went back inside, guessing he needed more than me.)
4. When i got up in morning and CLEANED trash up, i noticed he also got in the cooler and ate my pack of bacon, six burgers, and half my pasta salad)
5.  After my son(15) helped me pack up, we were off , headed home. twelve miles into the dive i noticed the step door to the camper was in the down position(luckily nothing broke)

Other than the few above little things, it was a great weekend. If anyone can think of why the pump doesnt want to pull water PLEASE advise(i even got home and drained, blew out the lines, tried again to no evail, i'm lost now)

WOW!  That was one hungry skunk!  I'd bet he had some helpers ;)

Sounds like you had a great trip!

Sounds like you had a fun trip. You off to making new memories.

Our wate pump did the same a couple weeks ago. Had a hard time priming and then would run for a long time with very little water coming out. (Not sure you have a water heater). We ended up cleaning out our water heater which was sending what looked like calcium deposits to the pump and clogging it. We cleaned out the water heater and put a new anode rod in. Then disconnected the water lines from the pump, cleaned the screen filter at the front of the pump, and the aerator at the faucet and all seems to be working well for us now.

Hope this helps.

thanks all, will try cleaning out the water heater next and the anoide rod(did look a little worn) but other than that i can't find any leaks in the lines(air). i read about making sure all the air is out of the water tank too, so i will try that also this Sunday.
