i did the backyard pre-trip campout over the weekend.  Water pressure while hooked to city water was double that when using the pump, is this normal?

wondering if it had to do with a possible cracked line(leak/air), i had to replace the outside shower lines due to the connector nuts braking(forgot to drain those lines after the hunting trip last december).  Cant seem to find anymore leaks or anything broken, any ideas?

Your home water pressure is much greater than that of the 12-volt water pump.  It is suggested that when hooked up to 'city water' you use a pressure regulator.

have the pressure regulator, just seems like the 12v pump had alot more pressure last time i used it compared to now.  i cleaned out the filter on the pump, was trying to figure out if there could be a pressure problem in the lines.  just doesnt seem like it has much pressure at all.

Well after another hour of checking all lines, air in hot water tank and finally taking apart the water pump again, i found a small crack in the plastic housing of the pump.  When i took it off and pushed my finger on it , ever so slightly, it broke apart into six pieces.  Luckily i live about twenty minutes from camping world, and was able to run down there and pick up the piece.  Replaced it and have great pressure in the lines and no leaks.  Just wanted to give an update.
