Saw a neat comment from a poster.... TSIP..

Wouldn t it be nice to have double awnings on the camper?...

That would a heck off a set up... AAR on one side Awning on the other...

For extended stays I am sure... But talk about " Spreading out" ...

 Anyone seen this?

Where do you get a 2nd Awning? Dealer I assume?

Joe GleasonI ve thought about it. But don t know if I (we) would use it. Probably not. But it would be good for sun and heat. I wonder how I could support it?[;)]

Joe GleasonThe 2003 and 1/2 Colemans have a second track on the back side of the roof for that purpose.  They are selling a sun shade for the back side of the PU.   A full size awning would work too.[:)]

Joe GleasonWe actually saw a pop up that had an awning on the left and the right side!! It had 2 doors too, one on the left and one on the right!! At first I noticed because it was a  93 Jayco like mine. Same color. But when we walked past it I flipped. I had never seen anything like it. From the one side, it looked just like mine and I was going to comment on it. I haven t seen another one since. Do you think this was a mod?? I didn t get to talk to the owner. I saw it at Tawas Point Campground in Michigan in August.

Joe GleasonOne of the MAPCE members had a 1999 or 2000, maybe even a 2001 Jayco with the 2 doors, We saw it at the dealer in DE, then ran into them. They had traded it in for a TT.

We had toyed with the idea of a second awning on the back of the Jayco.
A bag awning is not practical for the Bantam and another TT awning is a little to pricy.

I just ordered a folding canopy, I can use this in the back, in sunny places provided there is enough room. I m glad I have extra hoses and electric lines!

Oh boy! another place to hang tacky lights!!!

Joe GleasonI installed the " Little Buddy"  awning on the back side of our popup. It only extends out about 3 feet but it is nice because it shades the large window on that side of the camper. Also when it rains I can leave the window open  and not have water come in. It was very easy to install. It came with an awning rail that mounted with special pop rivets that came with it. Then there were two small attachment assemblies to mount to the side of the camper with screws or rivets. I screwed mine on but I added a piece of wood to the inside of the outer sheeting first to give the screws something more to bit into than just the sheet metal alone. It worked out good on me camper because the places that the attachment pieces had to go were near the cover for the power cord and the inlet for city water. I just unscrewed each of these and pulled them out enough to reach inside the wall to hold the piece of wood in place while running the screws into them, then reattached the covers.
