I have a 2002 Coleman Niagra.  When you swing the galley up....underneath in the middle there is a metal thing(a cover) that is a piece inside a piece that appears to slide (?not sure abt that?) I cant get that thing to stay up....
Sorry description seems so vague, but suspect someone knows what I'm talking about.

I've got a '00 Coleman Mesa with the swing galley.  I think what you're referring to is the cover (I don't know the technical name for it - sorry) that covers the 'slot' for the sink drain hose when you swing down.  If I remember correctly, the cover is 2 pieces that are hinged in the middle and are attached with hinge type joints on either end.  I suspect your problem is that the cover has come disconnected from the galley end.

I hope this helps.

In the Coleman/Fleetwood parts catalog, it is called a "Filler Assembly".
I guess they call it that since that metal cover fills the slot cut through the galley for the sinks drain hose.

Just need to find out where the hinge screws fell, and re-install.

  Good luck.
