Portage Wisconsin Campground

We went to a campground named Sky High Camping Resort in July. Nice campground and during the week the rate was $19 a night. We had campsite 50 and it was in a wooded area. We were pretty much by ourselves after Monday as the few other campers in that area left. There were quite a few camping in the open area near the Office/Store/Pool area and in the cabins scattered in that region. We had rain most of the time there but if anyone were planning on going to the Wisconsin Dells area but didn't want to camp in the Dells this campground is worth checking out. The campground is open year round because it is next to Cascade Mountain Ski Hill, and the Dells are about 15 miles away or so. They do have full hookup sites in the area we camped but I usually just like electricity and water hookup, or just electrical.

The Wis. chapter of GLPUC hosted the 2006 Club Rally at Sky High. Most of the attendees were in the grassy section(full hook-ups), while some of us more hard-core campers stayed in the wooded section.
 
IIRC, we paid $30+ a night. How'd you get a site for $19?

On their website it had a deal and when I checked in I mentioned the deal. M-W it is $19 and Sun - Thur they have $10 off each night. We stayed Sun - Fri and paid $19 for M-W and $29 for Sun and Thurs night.
