Here I am looking to my best source of information..

Wed I have to be at UCLA medical center by 9:30 am. google says 1 hr 6 min to 3 hrs with traffic. My intended route would be the 57 fwy N to the 60 west which turns into the 10 and then the 405 north. thinking I should leave at 8am.

1. is this a good route

2. Am I dreaming I will be there in 1 1/2 hours that time of the morning..

Thanks

OC Campers

Considering where UCLA is and you are.  GOOD LICK!!!  Either way you go it will be a parking lot at that time of the morning.  I guess just get up early and get cup of coffee if you get there early.

You get RUSH hour coming or going from LA, and almost anytime of day.:eyecrazy:

Spend the night at our place.......we're 20 minutes from UCLA. Although, even from here, I would advise leaving nearly an hour early. It could take 30 minutes to find a parking space.

Just don't overwhelm our toilets..........we have lots of them at the moment.

thank you soooo much for the offer and even letting the kids come since Dan is working...Too much work to pack us all up..but I will definetly keep that in mind if I have to go back for a second visit..

I'll just leave really early and I'll go find a starbucks or something if I'm early

Give us a call if you're early. We'll even feed ya breakfast. The kids could hang out here (I'll put 'em to work...:-()).

Rather than go Hwy-10 to the 405, you could get off Hwy-10 at La Brea, turn rt. Go 1 mile to San Vicente and turn left. Go 2.5 miles on San Vicente to Burton Way (our street). As you enter Beverly Hills, there's a big Freeway Like sign that says, "Burton Way" just follow that sign and we are 1/2 mile up on the right.

If you want to continue on to UCLA, just keep going up Burton Way another 1/2 mile and you'll get to Rexford St. (you'll see Beverly Hills City Hall on your right. Turn rt there, go one block and turn left on Santa Monica Blvd. Go about 1 mile and turn right on Wilshire Blvd and that will take you right to UCLA Campus (about 3 miles).

That might actually be faster than fighting the 10 to the 405 (depending on traffic on the 405.
