Hibernia is part of the Kerr Lake SRA, and can be accessed via Route 39 from Henderson, NC (I-85).  Wonderful lake camping with vast waterfront access, boat launch, dump station, several bathhouses, and some primative camping.

One year I had site 95, W/E, all dirt pad/driveway, with fairly easy barefoot access to the shoreline.  Very nice but, daytime sun - from about 10am to almost 3pm - full sun on the camper (high temps too).

Last year I enjoyed site 104 W/E, with a gravel pad/driveway and it was level and very nice - morning sun however until about 1pm.

This year I got site 100 and thought 'yuck'....but, very little sun and the AC sure appreciated that.  Nice gravel pad/driveway, and I was able to back the PUP onto the dividing 4x4 (dividing the driveway from the camp pad) and that was great - didn't have to worry about the different levels of ground or someone tripping/falling entering the PUP or exiting and the Add-a-room and carpet fit like a glove.  Sure was glad I carried 3 sections of white water hose as the spigot was downhill from the camppad and it took all 3 to hook up to the PUP.  (These sites were primative years back and set up slightly differently, and the water lines have not been updated).

Great weather during our stay, good boating (never did any fishing) and we had quite a bit of daily swim time.  As it was our family reunion camping trip, the Townsville, NC cousins would come over and we'd have a blast.  We did breakfasts at the camper, dinners at the cousins house (there were 14 other relatives there including kids/babies).  Kids got to go tubing, also got learner skis, but winds made the water too rough for them to do get up on the skis.
Local convenience store - RJ's has a bit of everything.  A newly opened eatery is only open on weekends, and we enjoyed their ice cream.

My Colorado cousins flew into Greensboro, NC and stayed in the PUP with me - it was a great reunion.
