I am wondering if anyone has done some serious cold weather camping in your hybrid?  We keep looking into upgrading from our PUP to a Hybrid, to extend our camping season.  I  really want to head up to Northern MI across the big Mac bridge and wonder how warm we will be in Hybrid...

I am all for gizmos on the ends and any other tricks that can be done to keep us warm.

Do hybrids have heated tanks like a TT?

thanks

Heated tanks? I think it depends on what the mfg's offer....
We went out in the middle of February a few years back.
The ROO that we had didn't have heated waste tanks, but the freshwater tank was inside the cabin, so it didn't freeze up. However, the water lines ran close to the outsde edge of the box, and did get a little "slushy".
If you dump in a few gallons of windshield washer fluid in the waste holding tanks, it will help to keep the icky suff from freezing solid. Although I was unable to dump my tanks in Feb. But it was only 20 degrees during the warmest part of the day, and closer to zero at night. Too windy for the hair dryer to thaw the pipes. So I had to wait for a warmer day.

All in all it was a good camp-out.

Enjoy!
