Outdoor Stove Propane Connection

We have a 1999 Fleetwood/Coleman Mesa. It has two stoves: an indoor one, and and outdoor one clearly labeled "high pressure" and "outdoor" that is stored in the storage box up front, and can be removed and mounted to the side of the popup for use.  It has a gas hose w/a brass screw on threading, and there is a gas connection exposed below where the stove attaches.

Would I be able to use other 'outdoor' propane cookers by running a gas hose from the cooker to this particular connection?  I would prefer to cook away from the camper, plus I need more space on the burners themselves for larger skillets, etc.  Some of those outdoor gas cookers (e.g., Bayou Classics, King Kooker, etc.) have high (>50,000 btu) burners, designed to have a 20-lb propane tank hooked up directly.  Could I use that connection I described, or even though it says "high pressure" is it sized for that small 2-burner 'outside' stove, and might not be sufficient for a larger cooker.

If I can't, I have read I can hook up a 'T' to the tanks on the tongue and tap directly into one of the tanks.  I was just trying to see if I could use that existing exterior connection.

Yes, you can use any standard off-the-shelf propane appliance that normally uses the 1lb disposable canisters.  All you need is an extension hose long enough to suit your needs.

I found a 12' long Marshall brand extension hose at Camping World a few years ago.  I use it with a Weber Go-Anywhere grill on a portable folding table away from the PopUp, or preferably on a nearby picnic table.

I have also used a "Steak Saver" adapter at the end of the 12' hose to connect a Camp Chef Keg Roaster that normally uses an ACME connector.

You should be able to connect any "high pressure" appliance to the high pressure connection on your camper.  You will not be able to use a low pressure appliance.:)
