While traveling with out Viking 2465, we lost 1 of the support poles for the front king bed.  Any suggestions on where to find these?  I have checked a couple of rv dealers, but on luck.

We also have a 2002 Viking and from AZ. If you are in the Phoenix area try Cactus RV in Mesa. The parts dept is in a storage building in the back of the sales office. If not close call them at 480-968-4222 and see if they a part or can order you one and how much.

We had to replace our tire jack and bought one through them because he had it in stock and we were leaving the next day.

There is another dealer up in Prescott Valley if you are not happy with Cactus RV.

We purchased our PUP new from Antler RV in Phoenix and they have since gone out of business and Cactus Rv has picked up the line. I loved Antlers and their service.

You could call Viking at 269-467-6321 and talk to Connie. Most likely they will have you go to the dealer to get the part.

I have also seen where someone made the bed support out of metal conduit pipe and bent the bottom portion to fit into the slots.

That would be me.........

I would not pay nor wait, to buy that thing from a dealer. You can easily fabricate your own from electrical conduit. You can buy an 8' long piece of electrical conduit pipe from HomeDepot for about $6. I'm betting that the dealer will want $30 for that part and it won't be nearly as strong.

It may need careful cutting and possible drilling of a hole or 2 but could be accomplished easily. Make 2 while your at it........you'll have a spare for yourself or someone else.:sombraro:

You will need 1/2" EMT electrical conduit, a hacksaw and a vise. Then after you make an exact copy of the pole you might find the original one like I did right where I left it in the PU. So you will have a spare for the next time you misplace it. Lynn
