Looking at buying the Quicksilver 8' or 10' popup. I do not like the place they put the A/C. The air will only stay along the floor and it will take a long time for it to cool the camper. Does anybody have the Quicksilver camper with the A/C? How does it work for you? I'm thinking about using a portable A/C. Has anybody used a portable A/C in a popup. If so, how did it for you?
If anybody has either one of these campers, could give me your pro's and con's.

I have the 8' model and I do not have air conditioning. I live in Arizona so in May its below the Mogollon Rim, June above the Rim, July and August the White Mtns. in Eastern Arizona. Some of coworkers have used the small portable room AC in their popups and others use the fantastic fan. The ACis mixed results.

Update on the mixed use. AC worked fine above 6,000' and worked better when the solar bunkend covers were used. Those that said it did not work well were camping around 3,000 feet in triple digit temps.
