Stuck Bed Support

Great weekend camping and then . . . . we couldn't get one of the bed supports on our Coleman Carmel to come down.  It was stuck where it sits on the bolt to the frame.  I had to eventually take the side attached to the bottom of the bed off and bend the support so it would come off.  It looked like the inside tab was a little bent so it was catching the nub on the receiving bolt.  I fixed that with some pliers and tried to change the angle of the bumper, but I'm not confident I got this fixed.  Anyone else had this problem and have any advice?  What a pain.

My Niagara has the backsaver bunk supports, and the guide bar on one is a bit warped.  So when setting up, sometimes the rubber spacer on the support bar gets caught and me and the trusty screwdriver have to guide the spacer back to it's proper side then can glide the support into place and lock.  Occassionally it will catch when taking down and I go through the same procedure.  (I've tried to straighten the guide, but it isn't enough and I'm afraid I will break or further damage the 'pot metal').

Someday I will replace the guide/locking mechanism - till then I just remember my screwdriver when setting up and taking down.

Not quite the same issue as you have, but close.
