Looking For Info and Suggestions on Camping in Everglades NP

HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all and Hello from the sunny :S and sometimes even cold Florida Keys. :frosty:   My DW, Phyllis and I have been in the lower Keys since December 20th.  We've actually been staying with family here, but we came down with our Pup, camping on the way down and plan to spend about a week camping and exploring in the everglades on the way back up.  We're hoping maybe someone can share some experiences and suggestions of good places to see, things to do and places to camp.  We are okay with dry camping and not so interested in being packed into a crowded place, but we are open to suggestion.  On our way down we stayed at James Island County Campgrounds in Charleston, SC and it was terrific. :-()Great Christmas Lights in the park!   That suggestion came from here at the PUT forum.
