Quote from: Mike Up;216890Congrats, but the last time I looked at a Jayco 1207, it was a 12' box model.:book:

Have a good one.

You're right. :D  It's habit to refer to the 10 ft. More specifically, I don't want to tow anything more than a plain old pop-up, no high walls or hybrids or anything.  Truth be told, in length and weight, this new one is pretty much a wash as our last model, while a 10 ft, had the front storage box, which added about a foot and a half. The dry weight is very close, as well.

Hey, I was an English major. Don't confuse me with all these numbers. :eyecrazy:

Used 2B PopUPTimes

We have a 19H Jayco hybrid and wish it had a slide. Someday I'd like have something like a 28'-32' TT on a seasonal site somewhere and a Tear Drop like a Silver Shadow for "camping" trips.

I never minded towing a pop up but really don't like towing a trailer I can't see over in the rear-view mirror.

We have been thinking about upgrading. After almost 10 years of the A we find that now with 2 -  65 lb dogs instead of 1 small 40 pounder the A can get quite interesting at night.

We want to look at the Keystone's  OUTBACK - Lite Way 25RSS , looking for a used one.. We have no pickup for a 5er so this is what has caught our eye as far as floor plans. I has bunks in the front the bottom would most likely be dog beds.  The biggest drawback is the used ones have white cabinetry which I'm not wild about. Guess that would be a trade off for no canvas bunkends.

Well I voted HTT!  To us it would be a move up because we feel we will be happier with it.  Our Puma is a wonderful TT but just too closed in for me and DH wants something lighter to pull and a bit shorter.  We had a HTT and should never have traded it.  We too started with tents, then 2 used pups and a new one with bath and slide, then an htt and now a tt.  I always loved the second used pup and then the htt best of everything we owned.  We are waiting for a Shamrock 23ss to arrive at the dealer so we can see one and look it over.  Hope we can work out the $ for trading.

Well I guess no trade off on the Outbacks whiteness is necessary now. We pulled the trigger on a  barely used 2003Fleetwood Wilderness 27 H the other day.

Marcy congratulations.  Do you have pictures anywhere?  Did you sell the A?

I looked and found the pictures.  Do the dogs get the bed?  I hope you don't get lost in there.:U

Thanks Tracy and Wayne. We gave the A to my son, he's a happy camper now too!

The dogs will try to steal the bed I'm sure. Maybe we should open the couch for them at night. It's a few feet bigger than what we were looking for, but when you find a great deal like this it's hard to walk away from it.
I look at it this way.... we bought our last trailer 2nd. I can't see the need to ever upgrade from this!

Congrats, Marcy!  Sounds wonderful....are you free to camp in KY in August?

DW and I began camping in an old wore out popup when we got married.  Graduated up to a  TT.  Every thwo ar three years we would trade up to a nicer/newer TT.  Things got more and more complicated.  Last year sold the Coachman TT and bought a PU and have never looked back.  Easier to tow, pack, back up, etc.  More like camping to us (yet we still like our AC and cassette toilet).
