My run from Old Orchard Beach (OOB) Maine to Florida is firmly booked. All but one night are booked at Thousand Trails Parks (for good reason, no nightly fee's...!!!)

Leaving OOB on Sept 1st, arrive at TT Moody Beach Maine for 2 weeks...
Sept 15 arrive TT Sturbridge Mass for a week...
Sept 22 arrive for one night at Lums Pond State Park in Northern Delaware...
Sept 23 arrive at TT Chesapeake Bay (Gloucester VA) 17 nights...
Oct 10 arrive TT Williamsburg VA 6 nights...
Oct 16 arrive TT Lake Gaston in Littleton NC for 3 nights...
Oct 19 arrive TT The oaks at Point South, Yemassee SC 1 night...
Oct 20 arrive TT 3 Flags, Wildwood FL for 7 nights...
Oct 27 arrive TT Orlando (TTO) FL 21 nights...
Nov 17 arrive TT Peace River, Wauchula FL 21 nights....

Trying to keep all runs under 6 hours, and spread them out a little to spend "some" time at most of the locations. The 2 TT parks in Virginia are only 45 minutes apart, but spending close to a month there because that is an hour from where I've lived over the past 45 years. I actually have more reservations than that, enough to get me through Jan 4th and those are all in Florida. Hoping to get hired by TTO for the winter, which would mean I'd just stay there. Also looking to book some Encore parks as well, but only got a 60 day booking window with those parks (TT affiliates, also zero nightly fee's)...

So the only nightly fee I'm paying is at Lums Pond State Park for $40....!

Had to start booking it all nearly 4 months ago, as I have a 120 day booking window, and if I don't stay right on top of it, I won't get the sites or campgrounds that I want. I'm still booking 4 months ahead all season long since I'm full time.

So organized! Super that most are multiple day stays. Great way to see the east coast.

Just added 21 nights at TT Orlando for the Holidays. A little trick I learned with Florida and their winter time "High Use Restrictions". As TT starts their High Use period on December 15th, and what that entails is you can only stay 14 nights max (vs the 21 nights I normally use), and you can carry only 2 TT reservations at a time (they are unlimited during regular times).

So by booking 21 nights on the 14th, I beat the system a little as I can get 21 nights, and it cuts into the High Use period by 20 days but doesn't count against my High Use Restriction, so I can still have 2 more reservations on the books. I also can carry 2 Encore reservations (part of Trails Collection - no nightly fee's either).

After doing this for the past 4 winters, I've got the system pretty well figured out!!

Sounds like you do have the system figured out. It's terrible you have to manipulate your stays to get the days that you need. But whatever works!
Enjoy your travels.
