What kind of EV do you own or are getting?

We canceled the F150 Lightning for several reasons back before Christmas. The dealer had been playing games which I was not in the mood for. The price had gone up considerably. It seems like the biggest charging network for CCS charging is not known to be very reliable. We finally came to the conclusion that if you are going to do electric the best way to go is Tesla. I have never heard of anyone complaining about the Tesla charging network. We are planning to order the Cybertruck now. It's growing on me. Looks like I will have to wait to order, I don't see it on the Tesla web site.

They claim they will start production this year but they have many many reservations so I guess we will be waiting for a long while.

If anyone knows how to order the cybertruck now, let me know. I don't see it on the web site.

Dan, I'm kind of sorry to hear you canceled the F-150. I have been curious about it. I have not seen many with my own eyes and have not been to a dealership either.

I normally buy GM products but can't say I'm a fan of the way the Silverado EV looks. The GM electric pickup looks better in the pictures but still not great. What I like about the F-150 Lightning is it still looks like the regular version. As far as the tesla truck, not a fan, their cars look fine but can't imagine driving a triangle down the road.

We live in California so I feel like we will be forced to get an EV truck eventually so hopefully by then there will be better options available.

LOL, I have mixed feelings on the Cybertruck but it has grown on me. Personally I think the F-150 lightning is the best looking of all the electric pickup trucks. After reading about battery issues and dealership issues and towing range issues it started to sour for me.

I have talked to a ton of tesla owners as well as doing a ton of research and came to the conclusion Tesla is the smart pick. The Tesla charging network is hands down the best charging network. Nobody ever seems to complain about tesla charging issues. Tesla also has thing dialed in far more than any other manufacturer. Too bad the tesla truck doesn't look more like the F-150. Maybe the Cybertruck won't tow any better but I doubt it will be worse. For sure the charging and software situation will bet better.

Dan, I'm on the same page as you. My wife would love for me to buy the Cybertruck, As for me, like you said, it's growing on me but still don't love it. For sure it's way bigger than my Model 3 so the space would be nice. What I didn't anticipate when I got the model 3 was putting five adults in the car every time we go to my in-laws house 5 hours away. Can't wait to get a good look at the cybertruck, maybe I will love it when I see it myself.
