 color=#000066]Has anyone ever camped around Florissant, CO? We might be sending our son there to a summer camp and wanted to know if there were any nice camping areas around? []

Take a look at Mueller SP about 1/2 way between Florrisant and Colorado Springs.  We were there a couple of years ago and had a nice time.  Tons of stuff to do in that area.

Make sure you check out [link=http://personal.udri.udayton.edu/klosterm/Aroyal.htm]The Royal Gorge Bridge.[/link] it s south of where you are going but, not all that far. It was built in 1929, and rises 1200 feet above the river. It s amazing.

 And of course the Air Force Academy.
