birolhey birol check and make sure the picture is in the size indicated. I think i has to be less than 290 pixels. Mine did the same thing until I reduced it.

Forgot to add, I am not Steve, but ya know the old saying " any port in a storm"

birol

birolIt is 280*280 pixels, only 18 Kb. Thanks for the advice though. The first time I overlooked that and caught it when the upload failed.

birol

birolYehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, it worked it worked it worked.

IN my profile is the bad bad dog windstar which tried to kill me ! How innocent and sweet it looks [:)]

ShirleyT

birolGlad to see you got it working birol! Nice van. And how can that sweet innocent looking van be bad? Because it is a ford?? [: (][:D][:D]

birol

birolnaaa; not because it is a Ford ! One day I put it on  reverse instead of park on a steep driveway and stepped out, and when is started to move back tried to break from outside; big mistake[:@]

It pushed me down, my feet against the door, pushed me backward for 3 feet, when it was just about to roll olver me, I threw myself away and fainted. Turned out it severely twisted my knee, tons of pulled muscles, shoulder almost dislocated. I was in bed for around a month or so. I still limp slightly, and knee & back  hurts sometimes back almost back to normal now.

So, it is a  bad bad bad minivan [:o]    Actually I guess I was hurrying too much, sigh .........

Now you know the rest of the story [:)]

ShirleyT

birolDo ya ever feel the BAD BAD BAD minivan is possessed and upset because you don t have a popup to pull behind it? [;)]

I think my first instinct would have been to take my crutches to it! [:o]

Glad you made it out alive!

birol

birolIt never occured to me that not being able to tow a PU would upset her so badly (Yup, windstar is a " she" , even has a name). After all, its old owners were towing a PU and poor thing is of course missing those good old days.

I shall fix that as soon as I can, I don t want it to attck me again [&:]

It is a nice minivan, we like it actually. If I had money I would probablt get the new Sienna though, sounds great accoding to what I read ...

Miss-Teri

birolMy Windstar s name is " Lucy" , short for " Lucifer" !  Sounds like it might be a better name for your s though, lol!

Actually Lucy isn t a bad van at all, and tows wonderfully - the name just came about when we couldn t find the color we wanted and ended up with red even though DH was sick of red.  The dealer made some comment about the devil s work in keeping us from getting that color, and Lucy was named!

But they have a point...   Windstars are extremely unhappy when not towing campers...  (As are their families, of course - kinda like a pet dog where they feel their owner s anguish. [;)])

Gamecock Camper

birolbirol, don t let that Windstar stew too much longer before you reward it with a PU camper to pull.  Glad you are ok.  It reminds me of a story way way back about an evil vehicle I had.  It was a Mercury Montego.  I liked it, but had it when my budget wasn t too big and it was living on it s last leg.  One day when I was leaving work I went to the car to crank it and go home.  I found out quickly that the battery was dead.  I walked (about 400 feet) to the workshop in the Pepsi plant that I was working at to get the jumper cables.  The jumper cables were connected to a battery that was on a handcart, so I had all I needed to crank the car.  I went to the car, hooked up the cables (properly) and the car cranked right up.  I left the car running and went to return the cart with the battery and cables to the workshop.

When I came back to my car I just couldn t believe my eyes.  I was in so much shock.  What I saw was that my car had popped into reverse and hit two cars before landing on another car.  The rear of my car was sitting ontop of another car s trunk.  My car was still running and in reverse while sitting ontop of this other car.  It is an interesting story to tell now, but at the time I was really in shock.  The funniest thing was that when the policeman came to fill in a report, he didn t know what to put down as there were no drivers or witnesses to the accident.  I did receive a ticket for Improper Parking.......

birol

birolWhat a bad incident [:o] Did you write of the car ? Did your insurance believe you ? must have cost them a fortune.

I believe there is a Car  demon which goes around and puts cars into reverse !

Before I got out of the car, I am pretty sure that I put it in reverse. The gear lever went all the way up, as hard as I could take it. I AM sure I put it in Park, yet wife says it was in reverse when she realized what was happening and pulled it up to park. We are lucky it did not hit any other cars.

I am now carrying a Reverse gear changer demon protection program anagram [8D][8D][8D][8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]
