tlhdocSince we have brought up H&H....  has anyone heard from them at all???  After that first trip, that was it.

tlhdoc

tlhdocI emailed H/H last summer about the fall trip.  They couldn t come to it and I have not heard from them.  I lost their email address when my computer crashed in December.

tlhdocSo, what site # s would you recommend?  We don t take pets.  It s too far for me to know what s going on, so I think I m just going to go ahead and reserve a spot and if I m the only one that can make it than so be it!

tlhdoc

 tlhdocShirley here are some of the sites I like 260, 253, 262, 264, 266, 243, 240, 233, 205, 206, 254, 247, 252 and 198.  Non-electric sites I noticed are 88, 89, 182 and 188.  They are not in any specal order and I don t know what you like in a site.  Hope this helps.

 tlhdocHi everyone
Just reserved site 220 today, last electric site available and pets are allowed. Not sure if we bring our two labs or not.Restrictions on walking the dog(s) are worst than prison. Can take dogs to any day use area, except the water, but can t go to any other campsite to visit.will see you soon.

 tlhdocAndy,
If you bring the dogs, we ll just have to come visit you [:D].

 tlhdocShirley,
If you go to the old forum and do a search on Hickory Run you should find a few threads that discuss site preference. I remember writing something and I think HR made a list of his favorites. I can t remember all the sites offhand, but Tracy s list sounds good (it figures I didn t choose one of the sites on the list [:D]).

 DiWHi Diane
Thats a deal.I hope the site is decent, makes you wonder, been the last one available. I m sure we will have a good time.

Is anybody planning on going to Newburgh,NY with Rick(copcarguy) in april?
I m tempted,it s close and I could stick to my plan of going camping once a month.
 Talk to you soon.

DiWHi again. Keep signing on & off coz my DD and her friends went from having girls night doing each other s hair to now it s a sleepover so I ve been driving around retrieving sleeping bags, clothes, etc. I have a minute while they pick out movies before having to drive them back over to a friend s house. Camping sure is easier than this. Glad they re having fun. Keep reminding myself it could be worse.
Anyway, we re not able to join Rick that weekend. We have a lot going on in April between soccer, dance, Courtney s preparing to make her confirmation, and then there s spring break. We re definitely planning to go away then.

 DiWHey all!

andym86:  Since you brought it up, I am surprised that more (or ANYONE for that matter!) have not jumped on the KOA trip...  it s kinda nearby all of us, and it s rated one of the best KOA s in the nation.  This is totally different than the North Lake trip, where I just happened to mention to DiW that we had reservations there and now we have a huge COTOC gathering.  I can t figure it out....  I know all of us here in " copcarguyland"  are suffering from severe cabin fever and would jump on an early springtime COTOC get-together.  Oh well, it ll be camping time before you know it!  Talk to you all soon!  [:)]

DiWWOW DiW:  we were just one second off with our last posts!  [8D]

Hey Rick, are you saying I have a big mouth[:D]. As for the North-South Lake trip, you & Steph didn t really want a nice quiet weekend, did you? Oops [:)]

DiWDi - you know I didn t mean it like that...  [:)][8D]  I am just surprised that no one is interested in KOA.  I guess I ll have to represent COTOC there alone...  [:(]

DiWAs for the KOA trip- it s just too early in the season. I doubt we could get the camper out of the snow by then. There s still more than 3 feet of ice and snow around it. And my tax season doesn t end until April 15th. Sis (gia) won t even have her camper by then.

September is too busy for us with kids back to school. DH won t do a two night trip to PA.

North-South Lake came at a good time for us. Both my sis (gia) and myself will be just getting the campers out and ready for the season. Vacation scheduling has forced us to make plans for very close to home, except for a week in August when we ll be in Letchworth.

We re looking forward to meeting you folks at North-South Lake, though![:D]

DiWRick I took a day off of work to make the NS Lake trip.  5 hours is a long way for a weekend.  April 5th is DS birthday, I don t think DH would be too happy if he didn t get to see him on his birthday.  Between the cold weather and not bing sure we can de-winterize the PU for the trip, the distance and DS s birthday that week is out for us.  Sorry[&:].  We also like the public campgrounds better.
