SheBantamWe made it home in fine shape.  Thanks everyone for another great weekend.  My sister and her DH had a great time too, and will be coming on future COTOC trips.  The kids have a 3 day weekend next week, so maybe another trip would be good.  Hey, they even asked if we could go.  Again, thanks to all that came for a wonderful time.  Even rain won t stop us. I have hot water on demand now! [8D][8D][8D]

SheBantamWe made it home quickly - no traffic like on the way to PA[:D] Had a good time, wish we had a little more time together before the rains came.

Just finished popping up here in the driveway. Have all the wet towels and clothes in the washer. Sure wish I had a photo of Kelsey coming back from the boulder field dipping wet. With Kelsey, there s always a need to have extra clothes. Thanks Andy for taking care of her out there. Beckie, that s an awesome hot water machine. Thanks again for the whipped cream this morning. YUM!

SheBantamHey everybody!!  We got home safely and thanks to all for a great weekend...  See you soon!!

SheBantamThe worst part of the trip home was waiting through all those light cycles to get onto the turn pike (I knew I should hvae gone the other way on 80, picled up 81 and caught 78 back east for an excusr to go to Cabellas. But Payday is next weekend and I have to replace the cell phone (charger not connecting, nothing dramatic like dropping it in the river, just wore out) so Cabellas was not in the cards for me.

Raymond had to bribe Jeffrey to come up on Saturday AM, then they went out for a hair cut and stopped at a gas station to ask two huys (who needed haircuts) where the barber shop was, then Raymond realized that he may not beasking the " right"  people, nut they took it all instride and asked him what a barber shop is... 3 hours later he came back looking as if he did not get one and Jeffrey was scalped.  Raymond suprised everyone (that knows him) and stuck around for the pot luck and the campfire!!

Nice park, I m ready to go back and get the same spot, Raymond was not as impressed. I liked the dish washing station. Have to pop out tomorrow night.

SheBantamWe made it home too.  The PU is set up (even though it was dry when we packed up) in the driveway.  The bedding, rugs towels and wash clothes are all in the house to be washed.  The water heater is bypassed.  The rest of the water system and the cassette potty have all been winterized.  I am tired.[:)]

We had a great trip.[:D]  Even the rain couldn t dampen it.  We ended up with 15 families attending and if I counted right 43 people.  [:D]  Wow was it a fun group!!!  I was sorry we DID NOT see a single bear.  The food was delicious and there was so much to eat.[8D]

We took a trip to the Coleman outlet and they gave us 20% off of their prices for being such a big group.  They thought we were a bus tour.[:D][:D]

I want to thank everyone for coming and I hope we can all get together on the next trip.[:)]

SheBantamDee I feel bad that the crafts didn t come about.  The rain really messed things up Saturday night after we were done eating. [&:]  I am glad your kids had a good time.  I wish I would have had more time to talk to you on the trip.  I didn t get to spend enough time in the front part of the loop, were some of the group was.[:@]

SheBantamYou know....the important thing was flexibility [:)]and fellowship!  [:D](and good food!)  [:D][:D]

SheBantamI went to East Side and caught I 80, then got off at the turnpike exit and was crawling then stopped. I knew I could have made a right out of the park, but I was not sure just how steep or windy that road was. Raymond had the same thing when he left earlier (I sent him home, he was in my way tearing down)

I reminded Tracy that you all did not consider the hills large or steep. This flat lander (lord knows, Delaware is very very flat, as is Florida and as was most of Southern Indiana)[:D] thinks those 13% grades were sorta steep.
I did reexplore Hazelton (one step-daughter was in Job Corps there), had been to Freeland with her years ago, so knew the back road to avoid the I 80 construction crawl. Just had never been between White Haven and Freeland until this weekend. My cell phone died and I was trying to get it replaced under the insurance...no Cingular in the Poconos

Andy, Raymond was suprised how close this Park is too, he made it in 2 hours, not towing.

 SheBantamHey COTOC Campers,

Wanted to thank everyone for a great weekend at Hickory run!  That was our first campout of the year (uh.....it s been a busy year) It was so good to get away... in the Poconos nonetheless...oh how eastern.  Thanks for your kindness and hospitality.  We enjoyed meeting you all and hope to see you again.

 Happy camping,

 Sara and Noel

Bearbait was the one that made the rice dish (it was sausage not hamburg) and I agree it was good.  I took the leftovers home, DH took them to work and it was all gone.  I didn t even get a chance to have seconds.[:@]
