The one by Skip P above looks very promising. Checked out the Salter Path CG and it seems to fit the bill.........wondering if there is any civilization nearby for DD (17 yr olds need access to shopping!), and i don t mind a bit of that myself!

   I d guess that Morehead City is about 15 miles (half an hour?) away from Salter Path. Your closest " real"  city. I have a 13 year old so the " shopping"  angle makes perfect sense.
 
 

PS. I m a trial member here.......the $29 fee seems a little excessive to me.....is it worth it, or can you pretty much get info on the public boards???

   As far as direct savings, don t know if you can pin-point that. Folks on this site have posted their SPUT s (Stupid Pop Up Tricks) and allowed some of us to learn from them. When this forum was free, it s popularity really exploded and became a victim of itself. I have no idea what it cost s to maintain such a site but no doubt it s not cheap. As far as the public boads, alt. rv.popup-trailers was at one time the " public voice"  for popup campers. The unmoderated site has now seen it s share of abuse. Shame.
