I ordered a Jayco Qwest 12A today.  I currently have a Jayco 806 and am looking forward in getting my new baby in 6 weeks.  I am also looking forward in the snow leaving and spring activities starting.  Planning on the first trip to Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground in Quarryville, PA.

Good luck with the new Jayco.

Going from the 8 to a 12 footer is a big step.

 Many years of happy camping.

 Joe BuskirkJoe,

Maybe we can meet at [link=http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclands/central/elkneck.html]Elk Neck State Park[/link] once the snow clears.

That should be right down the road for you

 Joe Buskirktim5055,

I would like to go to Elk Neck State Park, only 14 miles from me.  I camped there once with my brother-in-law about 8 years ago and enjoyed it.  When I was young, we(mother, father and I) camped in the cabins, which was about 40 years ago.  Maybe we can come to a mutually agreeable date to camp.  Thanks.

Joe BuskirkCongrats on the new memory-maker, Joe!  Gunna be a Loooong 6 weeks, eh? Like Gene opined, there s a big difference between an 8 footer and a 12--- it ll take you a bit to get used to the echo inside the trailer when you talk. [;)]

 Again, Congrats!

 Joe BuskirkJoe,

 Congratulations on the 12A!

We got the 2002 last year and are very pleased with it, plenty of room. The floorplan is definately what sold us, we love the open u shaped area. We felt the table option would make it kind of cramped. We towed it to Fort Wilderness last year and it was great, no sway at all.

The only thing I don t like are the cushions for the seats. They are sometimes a hassle to work with when you access the storage. One warning, be very careful when removing the u dinette cushions. The way it is designed, the cushions on the sides, near the bed rails get jammed into that corner and the back tends to get caught on the rails and tear. Yes, we found out the hard way... very minor tear. I put a couple of layers of duct tape on the back of the cushions in those two areas and have not had any problems since.

 Good Luck!!!

 Joe

 Joe BuskirkCongratulations!

We just drove to check out Jellystone in Quarryville on Saturday, down the long, muddy driveway.  The owners were getting the store stocked and ready.  The campground was a serious combo of snow and mud.[: (]  Couldn t see the pool or miniature golf course because of snow.[:(]

It was strange to think that soon it ll all be clear and ready for camping after this winter!
