We want to display which campgrounds we ve been to (a collection of stickers or bumper stickers), but I wanted something portable we could display outside our camper and then bring inside our home and display in our " rec room"  when we re not camping.

Do any of you commemorate your trips by purchasing memorabilia at each campground, then displaying it?  I d love your ideas - photos would be GREAT!!!  We want to make this a tradition starting with our first trip to Virginia in April.

 Thanks!

my4cutiesWe display states we have visited (" visit"  means we slept in the pop-up).  We use one of the stick-on maps that are available at most RV places.  We are currently up to 25 states.

Displaying campgrounds would be quite a display.  We had one particularly aggresive season that included 31 campgrounds that we had never visited before.  After a few years, that would take one big bumper!

my4cutiesWe keep a camping journal of all our trips.
We keep info on the campground, and any places we visited.
 The PUT store sells one.
I m not aware of any stickers or patches available for any of the many state parks we have visited

my4cutiesMy trailer is a few years old now, So I caved in and just slap those stickers right on there.

I put them around the bottom, on the painted frame. If they don t come off, I will just sand them off and touch up the paint. I ve already had to touch up the paint anyway.

They don t look that bad[&:] in a neat row around the bottom.

my4cutiesWe started on our camping honeymoon (pre-pop-up) collecting fridge magnets from each campground we visit.  If the cg doesn t have magnets, some have patches and I hot glued the patch to a piece of magnet tape (it s magnet on one side and sticky on the other but needs the extra  glue  to stick well).  These could be displayed on some type of magnetic board that would be portable.

my4cutieswell did you ever think of making a " patch"  quilt? or a banner? you can display it on your bunk end, and then hang it on the wall at home!  we collect decorate flags from each state we visit and we put them around our bunkends, thinking of sewing them on the bunk end skirt to decorate it .

my4cutiesWe are working through the National Parks.  We commemorate each park with a hiking staff medalion.  So far all the parks have sold them.  It s a little metal plate that we nail to a hiking staff.  We not only use it when we hike but keep it in the library in the off season so that we can remember our trips.

my4cutiesWe have one of the stick-on maps by the camper door and we get coffee mugs from most of the state parks (if available) and national parks we go to.  We used to get t-shirts but the dresser was getting full.

my4cutiesWe have the colorful states visited map.  Which will definitely get a couple more this summer.

I never put a bumper sticker on a car.  EVER.

The camper bumper gets plastered with various stickers.  It is my toy to do with what I want.

my4cutiesYes, I would like to collect stickers on the cover of the spare tire but I see no stickers out in camping areas.  I must be me huh!

my4cutiesWe use the sticker map on the side of the camper.  We put the little sticker stars in the area of the state we camp in.  The kids love it.  My D/W and I will collect spoons from the areas that we visit.  We have a spoon holder on our wall to remind us of our adventures.
