RE: Counting the number of days you camp

If someone asks you the number of days you camped on a trip or season, do you state the number of day or partial days you spend at a campground or do you state the number of nights you spent sleeping at the campground?[&:]
 
 I count the number of nights.  Example a weekend trip Friday, Saturday and Sunday would be counted as 2 by me.  Even though we spend 3 days at the campground.

I count the days cause it makes me feel like I ve been away and enjoyed a longer season!!!!!

You could count 24 hour periods of time.  But, would the 24 hours start when you leave home or when you arrive at the campground?  Also, does it end when you leave the campground or get home?  Maybe it is just easier to say... 3 days, 2 nights... like the cruise lines.

I usually check in one minute after the stated check in time and check out at the check out time, so I count all the days! So Friday to Sunday, would be 3!
