 As many times as I have disagreed with Nightowl, she was always the first to forget about it , And has never held a grudge. So I m not buying this one either.
 
 Everytime someone doesn t post for a few days, doesn t mean there is a scandal.

The last email I received from her stated that she was up to her, well, you know, with projects. I don t believe her absence has anything to do with any thread. Anyone who has been around for a while should know that NightOwl is not one to turn and run.

I hate to see that Nightowl has decided to take a break because of one person.  I was also one of the people that person was waiting to attack in those nasty threads.  I was one of the people that responded in a less than friendly manner  and then I decided it wasn t why I come here and I d just ignore responding to threads that are negative like the one that Nightowl probably is taking a break from.  I looked up that person (most people know who that is, and if not, then don t worry as it isn t worth stirring up again) and saw that the person who was going after Nightowl posted last on 2/26/03, so maybe that person is taking a break also.   Now that the weather is here, let s put that behind us, have Nightowl join us here again, and go camping.

Jeffrey, I talk to her almost every day.  I assure you that she hasn t turned tail and run from that one person.  what she is so upset about is the moderator s action in this thread, and then refusal to reply to the questions that she asked.  I will repeat, she IS also up to her you know what in projects, as Bill said, but is disgusted that people can come in on this free membership and create havoc and then leave, possibly to show up again as another screenname.  Also, since you said that she has posted often since then, go back and see, she did post for a few days I believe while waiting for a response from the mod.  When she didn t get one, she decided to spend her time doing other things.   I am not trying to stir up another rucus, but someone asked where she was, and I answered.  It doesn t seem like the board as I know it at it s best, to let such a valuable member just drift away.

  and, BTW, I never asked anyone to stay away.  As her friend, and as someone who is also upset about this, would I expect anyone else to stay away when I obviously am not staying away?!   That others may decide to stay away would only be their choice, I have nothing to do with that.  Altho I m flattered that you think I have that much influence.

My Grandkids call me Nana.    I guess I could be the GodNana, but somehow it doesn t seem to carry as much clout.  Plus, i d be fighting with you over the cannolis, and forget where the gun went.
 
 If there is any one even considering staying away from this board because of what you ve heard from me, please don t.  That won t do anyone any good, and besides, it s not what NightOwl would want you to do.  She ll deal with this in her own way, and there isn t anything we can do about that.   I just let off steam about it because it made me mad.  Thanks Jeffrey, for cooling me off.

 I am sorry Nightowl?s feelings where hurt and don t wish her to leave the board either. But after seeing a few posts of what people think they remember and basically how awful the other member must have been I wanted to post as well. I ll say if this little feud was between whom I seem to " remember"  it being between I consider him a friend as well and I don t think he should be slammed either.
 The moderator took a refreshing little poke noting what all the rest of us could read into Nightowl?s post, big deal it and heck it was kind of funny. If the issue is simply the moderator not replying back well maybe everyone should focus this drama on them and not the other dues paying, contributing member of this board who was involved.
 
 BTW: she was right about wearing name badges[8D]
 If Jeffery can get over it, jeez..

 HHhnnnggghhhhh.....cannolis  I haven t had a good one since I left NY.  Just be glad he didn t use a Supersoaker to help with the " cooling"  process.  Why do I have a feeling he has a ton of these placed in strategic locations for getting a hold of easily.  []
