RE: WHY DO WE HAVE DANCING SANDWICHES?

 See there--over in the most far left column on the main page of each forum?  There is a round white plate.  They seem to have sandwiches (or squared-off omelettes) on them with a bite taken out. Some of them just lie there and some of them are bouncing around on their  plates.  
 
 Are they supposed to go with the muffins we have under our screen names?  When do we get a cup of coffee icon to go with all of them?

 Bill, I dont know what it is called, but DH grows it in his greenhouse along with the orchids and house plants.
 
 And I still see those  %#!*$@   dancin  sandwiches no matter what I have or have not been smokin .  JUST LOOK at  them!  It is unnerving to see some of them bounding all over the plate![: (]

 Look down at the bottom of this page.....Looks like these " dancing sandwiches"  indicate that the thread is a " Hot Topic" .  That s the only thing I can figure out.

Hate to spoil the fun...er, who am I kidding?  Sometimes I love to be the pary pooper!  Anyway, NightOwl, think of those sandwiches as " documents"  (like a memo " posted"  on a board), except that one corner is turned down.  The dancing ones (I prefer to think of them as " throbbing" ) indicate a hot topic.

 Thanks, Theresa![]  I think it is great symbolism to use a dancing sandwich to indicate a hot topic.  I am certain Al Parker is the one behind the decision to use food as a " hot topic"  symbol.

 AB, dear friend,  I know you mean well, but you are too late--theywill  look like dancing sandwiches to me forever  even though what you say about " documents"  makes perfect sense in a linear way.  Unfortunately, you are addressing someone who looks for whimsy in everyday life (I loved the Dancing Raisinsand the Budweiser Frogs)  and  there is no magic in a  bulging document

 I was hungry earlier and couldn t find anything to eat. Yelled out " hey the paper says a sandwich has the winning lottery ticket. Did any of you buy one?" . Once the ones who bought one started dancing, I could hear them clicking on their plates & have been eating them one at a time. They ll be gone soon. [][][]
