CamperrooLet s see: 2 trips 5 nights in May, 2 trips 5 nights in June, 2 trips 8 nights in July, 1 trip 4 nights in August and 1 trip 4 nights in September. There will probably be 1 or 2 more trips in July, and up to 3 more in August and hopefully 1 or 2 more in September still to be planned!

CamperrooWe have our first trip to Assateague Island April 16th or 17th for 4 or 5 nights.
May 9th. COTOC trip to NS lake NY for 2 or 3 nights
May 16th Cub Scout camping-3 day
May 23rd COTOC trip-3 days
June18-27th 2 trips ending at the Eastern Rally
July 18th-2 nights
July 25th 7 or 8 nights
October 10 nights at Fort Wilderness, but may be changing

CamperrooWe will be camping Sunday-Wed this week at Warren Dunes SP on Lake Michigan,
and spend 12 days at the end of the month in D. Boone NF in Kentucky with several days in the middle in West Virginia. In May we will camp at least once or twice during the week. We have reservations in June at Fort Custer SP for a week with a group. We will be camping for a week over the 4th. The rest of July and August we will do some mid-week camping. We will camp most of September SW Utah if gas is not over $2 a gallon. We will camp a few times in October and November, probably spending Thanksgiving at Sleeping Bear Dunes, NP. Winter camping depends on the weather. We camp 60-70 days a year. Sometimes we drive back 25 miles each way to work.

CamperrooWe have 8 trips planned through September, with 3 w/e s still available for spur of the moment trips.
Just returned a 1/2 hour ago from a rare mid-week quick one nighter. Isn t PU ing great?!

CamperrooWe have 6 trips planned and paid for, so far.... I have to start thinking about the others...

April 11-13: Clear Creek State Park, PA
April 25-27: Brookdale CG, Meadville, PA
May 23-26: Black Moshannon State Park, PA
June 12-16: Shenandoah National Park, VA
July 4-6: Pymatuning State Park, PA
August 29-31: Clear Creek State Park, PA

Maybe a trip to Utah in October... I don t know yet. (not camping though)

We only get 2 weeks of vacation, and it can t be taken all at once - so we have to take a lot of short trips, usually pretty nearby. Unfortunately, we re not wealthy either and do have to occasionally stay home and do things that need to be done with our house. But, we d much rather be camping!!!

Red neff BarchettaWow, You guys plan alot of trips!
We have 3 planned, which is 2 more than usual...this is a unique year in that we have actually made reservations. Usually we just go and wing it except for vacations.

So far we have Memorial weekend planned for a few nights in Indiana with a few board members.

Made reservations at a local SP for the 4th of July weekend (DH most likely has to work that Sat)

And finally the last week of July we will be going to PA for a week to camp with a few more board members.....can t wait for that week to roll around!

The rest of our camping will be unplanned weekends at out whim.
We are hoping to get 1 week in the fall to spend beck in the woods in the UP.

Sure I ll manage to go a little more but 2 is all that we have planned at this time.

So I don t need to plan ahead to go there.[
