Well, I will be leaving the Eastern Rally on Thursday, a day early to visit my father for his 80th birthday.
 
 Anyone have any suggestions about a campground near Rocky Mount??
 
 I found a KOA 16 miles north in Enfield, but I have never been quite happy with a KOA.
 
 Any and all help appreciated

James Powell (jipow, not exactly sure of user name) lives in Louisburg which is close to Rocky Mount.  I think he has moved to IRV2, you might could ask him if you visit that site.
 
 I checked the Trailer Life Directory and that was the best rated CG in the area.  Out of 10/10/10 they got 7.5/8.5*/8.   Completeness of facility/Cleanliness and physical characteristics of restrooms & showers (* received full points for each of the following toilets,showers,floors,walls,sinks-counters-mirrors)/Visual appeal and environmental quality.  It s no guarantee, but at least it is not a low rating.
