Gone-Camping

I placed the order for a brand new Trail Cruiser C-23B hybrid last night... I should have the new trailer in 4-6 weeks!!! And I figured that I can sell of the Coleman and clear enough off of it to pay off the Jeep... So I get a brand new trailer, and less money per month out of my pocket!!!! [:D]

Oh, and Cindy now get s a bathroom [;)]

Gamecock Camper

Gone-CampingAlright. That sounds great. Congrads.  I m sure you will enjoy the hybrid, they are nice.

Gone-CampingSo, Cliff, are you going with CFO or the local dealer?  Which vehicle will be the tow vehicle? Tell us more about your new rig.[;)]
 Inquiring minds want to know.......[8D]

Gone-Camping

Gone-CampingActually, someone recommended rvwholesalers.com, which turns out to not only cost a few hundred less than CFO, but also about half a days drive closer to home! Additionally, I was able to add in extra options like electric tongue jack, bench seat drawer, rvq grill that the CFO trailer didn t have, and still come out cheaper! Great pricing. I placed the order online last night, and they called me to confirm the order this afternoon. I ve already got the financing in place via my credit Union on a 5 year note.

As for tow vehicle, I m still considering the options. Around here it s really very flat, so the Jeep will handle it, the trailer if loaded with the same stuff I carry in the PU now, will weigh in at around 4250# fully loaded. I ve got a 5000# tow rating, but also realize I m pushing the window there. I m going to use the Aerostar to drive to Ohio and pick it up, it s got a higher tow rating & longer wheel base, and I ll probably feel better crossing the mountians with that. I ll continue to try both vehicles, and if need be, sell them both and buy an F-150... I do have options available.

Now I gotta shop around for a good (but inexpensive) WDH.....[8D]

Gone-CampingCongrats Cliff I know you ll get a lot of use out of it, look forward to hearing your modifications too!

I know when we picked up the 23  Kiwi it looked huge behind the TrailBlazer, I feel much better towing with the Avalanche now.

Gone-CampingCongrats Cliff. But if i was you i would start on that bathroom before the new trailer gets home. You ll want to go camping every weekend with the new camper. This way it might save you from sleeping in the trailer everynight.
