RE: First Trip....Smoky s were Great!

Got our first trip of the year in last week and had a blast. Stayed in Little River Village in Townsend, TN (site of last years PUT Rally). I suppose one way to look at it is that we were REAL late for the Rally[

]. We had site# 123, right along the river...very nice. The Smoky s were excellent, not at all crowded and spring was definitly in the air. The wildflowers were just getting started so hopfully, we got some good pictures.

The BAL leveler worked like a charm and my 60qt. Igloo " 5 Day" (forget the proper name) lived up to it s promise.

Can t wait for the next trip!

SkipPI hope you walked around LRV thinking: this place must have been so cool with over 50 pu s (and one tent)! Sounds like you had a great time. I think it s time to plan my next trip over there.....

SkipPWe re leaving Thursday for three nights in Cades Cove. Can t wait. Sure hope it stops with the rain and cold. I can deal with rain but not rain & cold since we won t have hook-ups. We are hoping for a great wildflower show. We went to Devils Fork SP in SC last month and the wildflowers were really gorgeous - DH s pictures turned out good too.
SkipP: We ve heard that Little River is a good campground. How about reviewing it in the campground review section. Would be a big help to everyone who plans on a trip to the Smokies. [&:]
