 And me too also.  Been the Wagonmaster at three different events...have to do something to limit the number of miles G-Whiz and I put on I-5 and 101.  No better way to do it than to organize an event.
 
 Funny thing, we haven t camped 1 on 1 for over a year.  That will change right after the " Get Lucky at the Lake Rally,"  when we leave for 4 more weeks traveling by ourselves.  Should be back in tow just in time for ONE MORE NNC Rally don t you think?

 Sorry YellowXterra... I too have caught the nick neff cough!!!!  Believe - u - me... I was too wary to visit their group at the first opportunity... but when the second one came along... I jumped right in and most likely will never be able to shake this bug! This is one incredible bunch of folks.  I like it because you can choose to interact or play the recluse depending on how you feel on a particular day.  No one minds either which way. Because, sometimes you feel like a nap... sometimes you don t!!!

 Since we just attended our first NCCNEPHCOFF and SNCCNEPHCOFF SLO Rally last weekend - I think we re part of one or both or something like that[&:][8D]

 griffsmomWe camp with fellow California State Parks volunteers occasionally,and do quite a bit of work with that group.Hopefully,we ll get to attend a NNC ralley in the not too distant future.We follow  em on the forums,and they sound like a lot of fun!

 YellowXterraI guess I belong to the COTOC, PA group, but have not done any camping with them. [;)] Have one planned in Sept. [:D] I am looking for a club and/or waiting for a club to contact me about joining. I have been camping on an average of twice a month for eight months out a year. Been doing this for years. In all my campgrounds I have never seen a camp club in any of the campgrounds I have been at. This is why, in November last year I stated that a club sign from Popup Times would be great to put up at a camp grounds you were located in. Just to see if any club members were camping at the same a CG you were camping . Sooooooooo,
 To make it short I am still looking and waiting.......[:)]

 YellowXterraYep! I run our churchs  fellowship Club Camping Retreat! We meet all of ONCE a year at a State Park with no hook-ups, no planned activities, (other than a potluck supper on Saturday and a church service on Sunday), not even a playground, and everyone from 4 years to 74 years that goes has a blast.
 Parents get to be kids with their kids! No TV, just nature. Swimming, hiking, paddling, biking, sunbathing, reading or just " veging"  out!
 Last year I arranged for a presentation on the Common Loon, an endangered species in Vermont, from the VT Loon Recovery Project s state biologist, which my wife and I volunteer for. This year we re just going to gather round the camp fire, roast S mores and those of us who bring guitars will lead in campfire songs. No worries about disturbing others, our group takes up the whole section of the campground, no one else is near!

 Since I know you re in Maryland...  MAPCE (MidAtlantic Popup Camper Enthusiasts) just did a rally at Newport News this past weekend.  We re considering something mid summer closer to MD/DE.  I know that we are going to be seeing about Trap Pond SP east of Laurel, DE, which we go to every year as a potential site for a rally.  There is also a fall proposal for Goose Pt Park in South Central VA.
 
 Just gotta keep your eyes open on the boards - a lot of us communicate through email on the yahoogroups too.  On PUT, we re listed as the MidAtlantic PUC.
 
 yahoogroups.com/popups is the MAPCE group.
