 Why don t we start a new discussion topic every day and discuss is that day ? If it goes on to the next day, that s just fine, if not we start another topic next day.
 
 Here is todays discussion topic : How many of you have not so nice feelings against Turkish people based on Turkey s (Not on my soooo beautiful friendly personality) reluctance to open a northern front ? second part of the question is, are you more or less upset (compared to Turkey s decision) with Canada s reluctance to support the war ? (Just ignore our prime minister s silly comments, he doesn t speak for us []).

 warning: soapbox rant coming on... [&:]
 I can see why some countries are not agreeing with the war, especially based on the fact that NO weapons " of mass destruction"  have yet to be found in Iraq.  BUT... I refuse to judge Turkish or Canadian people in general.  Just because their government does one thing, doesn t mean all the people in that country agree with it.  The world would be a much better place if everyone didn t generalize entire societies based on a few individuals.

Not to be rude or anything.  But.  I don t believe this forum is the place for political and/or religious beliefs.
 
 With that said, I will not offer any more replies to this or any other threads on the subject.

Bikolee has a point there, I don t want this to be a political discussion , just wanted to learn how people feel towards the two countries, it has the potential to run out of control.
 
 Can a moderator please lock it or delete it or something for me ? I will choose my subjects more carefully ........
