First, my son got a keyboard that they were getting rid of at work that is the same keyboard for my computer.....it is so great to be able to type without always pounding my keys so it will make a letter. That is why you don t really see me posting....it was such a hassle.

Second, a opportunity came where they had a seasonal site on the same street where my sis is at Water s Edge. I didn t want to get one this year because it is such a terrible camping season for our family....just too many things going on that it wasn t worth to get a seasonal site. It is a very large one and I only have one person next to me and there trailer is on the opposite from my site. I know its going to cost me but I figured that I wouldn t have to bother anyone to keep bringing my pu home and back plus the most important thing it should save my back. I will only have to put it up once and then take down at the end of the year....plus it stays there all winter. Once you have a site, its yours until you don t want it. There could be other sites available next year but I only wanted to be in two areas only.....and this is one of them. I m so excited.....I don t mean to brag!

 So Happy Camping to everyone[:)]

FoxyladiesEveryone wish me luck!  Now I will be getting asked, do you know how to fix this...etc....lol.  Only kidding sis, it will be great to have you there!

Foxyladiesto me one of the joys of having a popup is that I can visit lots of different places and take me " home away from home"  with me.

What s so special about that place that you apparently want to leave it there year round?  I imagine you could pick it up when you want to go somewhere else - how far is it from your plac? (I moan about the 15mins there and 15 mins back from my friend s back yard).  Then I d probably feel guilty for paying " double."

FoxyladiesWater s Edge is only 35 minutes from my home....that is not the problem. I don t have a TV so I have to ask my son or my sister to tow it for me. Even thou they do it for me, its still alot to ask of people. This place has a 10 acre lake and I really like their recreation hall. Its heated in the fall and its enclosed. There is a campground in CT that is a 4 to 5 star resort. There is 500 sites and their activities are held under a very large pavillion. When the wind is blowing you are really freezing. It also makes it harder to go camping when your husband is a non-camper. This way, I don t bother anyone and my married children and grandchildren will enjoy it too.

FoxyladiesSounds like you found a lovely place!  Enjoy it!  It sounds gorgeous, being on a lake especially in the fall.

FoxyladiesIt really is a pretty place.  I have a small pedal boat with a motor on it so the I can enjoy the lake even more.  I find it very nice to go week after week and see friends that I have made there.  It really is great coming back after the long winter to see familiar faces.  My boys have a great time with old and new friends there.  It really is good not to have to break down each week and set up each week.  All I bring is clean clothes and fresh food and that is it!  I usually stay an extra night and just go into work in the morning from the CG.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do sis!
