 Fleetwood Enterprises Inc.?s Coleman subsidiary increased its dominance in the folding camper segment with a 42.7% retail market share during 2002, compared with 41.5% in 2001, according to Statistical Surveys Inc., an independent market research firm.
 
 Forest River Inc.. remained No. 2 in folding campers last year with a 14.3% retail market share, compared with 11.6% a year earlier.
 
 Meanwhile, Jayco Inc. slipped to No. 3 in folding campers last year with aa 11.2% retail market share after achieving a 12.9% market share in 2001, Statistical Surveys reported.
 
 No. 4 in folding campers in 2002 was Coachmen Industries Inc. with a 10.6% market share and No. 5 was Starcraft RV Inc. at 9.5%.
 
 Vanguard LLC, which Forest River President Pete Liegl acquired in 2002, which was is being operated separately from Forest River, at a 3.8% market share last year. Vanguard?s dealers sold a few more units last year than Thor Industries Inc.?s Dutchmen subsidiary which also had a 3.8% retail market hare in folding campers last year, Statistical Surveys reported.
