RE: Back from Easter outing -New pics on website

Well...my Easter weekend trip was very interresting to say the least. ...here s a quick recap...then check the pictures out on my website...ENJOY...
 
 Thursday afteroon...meet sis-in-law at home, head to campgrounds...make minor detour, get lost, get back on track get there...low and behold..WHAT S THIS?...a FLAT TIRE on the camper.  LEarned how to change a tire (ROAR).  3 hours later (it s dark) neighbors dog saunders into campsite. ....gets into scuffle with Pharaoh....owner of dog comes over, appologizes, she didn t know her dog got out, I worry more about her dog, but she tells me her dog s fine and keep appologizing.  Eat, laugh, go to bed.
 
 Friday...GOREGOUS weather....hike, walk, hike some more, play cards, make ice run for everyone, let Pharaoh play with kids on playground..he slides with them...jumps over Maggie over...she laughs..all is well...EAT, go to bed.  Ahhh, relaxing day.
 
 Saturday...RAIN....it s ok...it only last s till noonish...go for hike(s)...another ice run...we all meet at Laurie s site for a potluck...gorge...laugh...watch Ginger s tricks (She s a Brittany), go back to site, go to sleep.
 
 Sunday...get up early....hike....snap some more pics...pop down...drive off and Mary (sis in law) says, " OH NO"  while clutching her mouth.  Her " prescription"  sunglasses were still in the camper.  Get home Pop it back up...I crawl in....scrape leg...find them...all ends well.
 
 Now dogs are sleeping and I ll soon join them.  Looking forward to this weekend at Cedar Hill.

no problem here.  BTW great pictures.  Looks like a beautiful park.  And it seems you had a great time even eith the flat tire.  I feel another " have to camp there"  campground to put on my list of " want to visit"  campgrounds when we make our southern camping trip next year.  Our plan is to camp in at least one campground in each of the southern states during a 3 week trip.  I hadn t picked one for Texas yet.  This could be the one.[]

Thanks Starcraft Dad.  Hmmmm, tho I wonder.....If you re doing just one " have to visit"  park in Texas, you may want to consider Daingerfield.  It s very much like this park (actually a bit further East, also in the Pineywood country), and it s still, to this day, my all time favorite.
