 Welcome to the boards!!![]  Sorry, we re in SoCal (we re having a rally in Temecula this weekend if you d like to drive on down[]), but more importantly, how did you get a revolving picture under your name?  That is WAY cool!
 
 Are you originally from Anchorage? If not, what took you up there?  I bet you have an interesting story!  What is camping like up there?

Somehow I don t think we will be making the trip to Cali any time soon.  There are too many good places to camp up here. Also fishing season is fast approaching and we don t leave Alaska in the summer....way to nice and not hot.
 
 Now on to what you really wanted to know.  The avatar is accessed under the profile settings.  It is a simple .gif file.  The size limitations are 145X145 and I think 200kB.  There is a line that says to upload avatar, this is the one to use.  A popup box will open and allow you to browse your hard drive to find your file.  It will then be uploaded to the PUT server.  Hit apply and you are done.  The same process is used for loading a simple .jpg file.  
 
 One word of warning....If lots of people put these up it will take longer for the pages to load especially on dial-up.

Really nice the way the pics rotate, but can we see the larger, for the scenery.  The DW and I almost made it to AK back in the 70 s, wish we had, and will some day...And you are right, this is a GREAT LAND, all the way from your door to mine.
