RE: KOA at the Reno Hilton

I was thinking of going to Reno for the Great Outdoor Games in July and saw that the Hilton has a KOA campground. I was wondering if anyone has ever camped there and can tell me what I can expect. I m especially concerned about showers/bathrooms as all I have is a porta-potty and outside shower.

Hi, We have never camped at the Reno KOA, but have driven through it. I know that it fills up for Hot August Nights quickly. The spaces seemed close together, but then it doesn t sound like you are there to enjoy the campgrounds,more the area and events.  I do believe that there were showers in the the bathrooms, and that everything was clean. Hope this helps a little.[][
