well I never got the cabin painted last year...and haven t had time this spring..summer is coming up fast and I need to get it done!
 
 I had talked to my latest ex-boyfriend in the fall and he said he would help me paint the cabin (I am terribly afraid of heights). He called the other day to tell  me about our school reunion and I mentioned the cabin. He said he would be glad to do it for me, trying to see if he can get off memorial day weekend!! YYIIPPPEEE But I think the hitch to it all was.....he sent in OUR reservations to the reunion dinner..hhmm......now I wonder which one of us was the sucker!!! [8D]

Ok, Ok, I guess it would be your 20th HS reunion (based on your sig line of being a 65 year model.......  Funny, I was trying to crack a joke at your expense and I m older....  (LOL).

It is my 19th actually, I was born in Dec so was one of the oldest in my class. They have one of these reunions every year, I have never gone. This year is suppose to be a big shindig. They are going to have activites (moonbounce, etc) for the kids, a softball game and who knows what else during the day. Then a dinner and dance at night.
 
 I guess one dinner is worth getting my cabin painted though...and at least he is paying []
 
 also forgot to mention the exboyfriend I spoke of was my sweetheart my senior year, we have dated several times over the last 4 years....never seems to work out but we always remain really good friends.....

 You never know[&:] I went to my 20th class reunion, didn t really want to but the girl that was heading it up is a good friend and she pleaded so I went. Met my wife to be there[] When we were in high school we knew who each other were but were polar oposites. [8D] Now we are inseperable except by our jobs during the week.[] Give it a go...at least you will get a paint job and dinner out of the deal. Is t life just a bunch of compromises and deals anyway?

I ve gotta tell you 20th renuions are cool!  I went to mine and spent some time dancing with a gal who had dated a couple of my buddies, 15 months later, we were married!  
 
 I m a VERY happy camper.  I highly recommend 20th high school reunions!

But Shirley now you don t have to be afraid of getting married, it will end before 20 years are up.

ShirleyT, just go and enjoy the party, and make sure he paints like a pro. You can always say no if he pops the question.  You go like this :
 
 " errrr, I only went to the party to enjoy myself and to get you to paint, who told you I wanna marry you ? "

Fear not Shirley, in both of us who got married as a result of a reunion married someone other than who we came to the reunion with, from that standpoint it looks like you are pretty safe.
 
 Go, have fun, but if anyone looks like they are starting to kneel down, run!

Mike that isn t a whole lot of help!!  I am starting to look forward to the reunion. Even though I only live about 45 miles from where I grew up I never rarely see anyone I graduated with. Might be nice to see some of the old crew.

 We re having our 30th reunion in September.  It seems kinda scary.  Been in touch with only 2 people from high school -- 1 in VA and 1 in OK.
